Moving to or from Edge Hill University? A Student Move Guide for Ormskirk

Book early for the start and end of term

Pack light and pack smart

• Use bags and suitcases for clothes and bedding. They squash into gaps in the van.
• Use small boxes for heavy things like books, so they are easy to carry.
• Keep valuables with you: laptop, chargers, passport, bank cards and student ID.
• Wrap mugs and glasses in tea towels and hoodies rather than buying bubble wrap.

Check your tenancy dates

Share the cost with housemates
